 Recover Data Easy to use and seems to find a lot of the files lost after an inadvertent partition of a vfat drive. However I can do similar things with Testdisk and Photorec, which are GPL tools.

 I had a SATA external disk damaged by an accidental power off and wanted to repair it. I downloaded DRW and attempted to use it. I did not understand that it would not actually save the files unless I had registered. This is not an unreasonable policy but it would be nice to tell people that when the program starts. Hello, I tried the basic demonstration form of CardRecovery but the scan produced \"no detections of any recoverable files\" and a host of bad sectors. I thought it would work as I am able to review the photos on the camera itself although I cannot take any more photos nor delete or protect. Best regards ............. Hans
 It worked and was easy. Saved 750 photos from a corrupt SanDisk card.
Didn't come close to delevering as promised. This product will not recover corrupted files. The only thing it is good for is recovering accidentally deleted files, but there are plenty of free applications that can handle that. I was not impressed and will not use again.

Single Worst Program I`ve Ever Purchased I purchased Phoenix CDRom 5 months ago. After numerous emails with Stellar, I was finally able to install without getting the message "This is a demo versio ... you need to purchase the working version." I used it one time in an attempt to recover data from a CD. It couldn't recover anything I couldn't read with Windows Explorer, but at least I didn't feel like I totally got screwed out of $79.That is until I tried to recover another CD. The "This is a demo version" message was back! This is the single worst program I've ever purchased. I don't understand ...
